Dear readers and friends,

Wow, a lot has changed in the world since I last checked in. Our daughter just returned safely from Semester at Sea, taking college classes on a ship while traveling the world. I hope you all are staying healthy and safe.

Later today I will appear on the national radio program, “American Voices with Senator Bill Bradley” on Sirius XM Channel 124 at 7:00 pm Pacific time this evening (Sunday).  Each episode, Senator Bradley has an author on the show to talk about their “Favorite place in America.”  Tune in to find out my favorite place in America!  If you don’t have Sirius XM radio or aren’t able to tune in, I will post a link on my website later this week where you can listen for free. Besides finding out my favorite place in America, my radio segment has some lessons that I learned from my grandpa about being living in the moment…something I think is especially relevant in this time of a pandemic.

Sunday is the premier of a new episode of American Voices with Senator Bill Bradley. The interview took place before the recent events surrounding Coronavirus, but hopefully shows what we can do when we unite. We’ll hear from Eric Whitacre, the founder of a virtual choir – thousands of people around the world singing together Eric Whitacre’s Virtual Choir. Then, author Stefanie Naumann on her favorite place in America, and wonderful moments she had there with her mother.
